Join Nexa and be part of a mining company that moves with the world! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Coordinate and ensure execution of operational routines at the beneficiation plant (crushing, grinding, flotation, thickening, filtration, tailings, etc.); * Coordinate and develop a team of approximately 100 professionals, fostering a collaborative, safe and high-performing environment; * Monitor and analyze operational indicators (production, metallurgical recovery, operational availability, productivity per shift), proposing and leading action plans; * Collaborate closely with partner areas (maintenance, geology, PCM, laboratory, quality and safety) to ensure plant performance; * Monitor operational indicators (production, quality, metallurgical recovery, energy efficiency, costs, etc.) and propose corrective/preventive actions; * Lead and develop operational teams, promoting safety culture, environmental responsibility and continuous improvement; * Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, safety and environmental regulations, and applicable legislation; * Manage people—including shift scheduling, training, performance evaluations and individual development; * Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, technological innovation and digitalization of production processes; * Foster a culture of active listening, recognition, learning and appreciation of people, aligned with Nexa’s cultural principles; * Ensure effective management of shift schedules, vacations, training and team development processes; * Actively participate in operational forums and technical committees of the unit; * Support internal and external audits, contributing to operational compliance with company standards; * Safeguard plant assets’ integrity and contribute to operational risk management. **Requirements and Qualifications** Required Qualifications: * Education: Degree in Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or related fields; * Experience: Hands-on experience in operation and coordination of mineral beneficiation plants, preferably polymetallic; * Solid experience in mineral beneficiation plants, preferably in a polymetallic environment; * Experience leading large operational teams on shift work; * Experience in indicator management, operational performance and process safety; * Knowledge of operational indicator management (KPIs for production, recovery, costs); * Familiarity with management tools (PDCA, MASP, Lean, Six Sigma), operational control systems and SAP; Desirable Qualifications: * Postgraduate degree in Production Management, Metallurgy or related fields; Skills: * Leadership focused on people and results; * Ownership mindset and proactive attitude; * Collaboration and teamwork; * Active listening and empathy; * Systemic vision and data-driven decision-making; * Initiative toward innovation and continuous improvement; * Commitment to safety, environment and integrity. **Additional Information** ***Nexa believes in fostering a plural environment where everyone feels comfortable and free to be themselves.*** We are one of the world’s largest zinc producers!
