Join Nexa and be part of a mining industry that moves with the world! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform activities in accordance with safety, health, and environmental procedures, correctly using PPEs and collective protective equipment (CPEs), aiming for Zero Accidents; * Research new technologies and develop applicable improvements to mining processes; * Plan and execute experiments (laboratory-scale, pilot-scale, and industrial-scale); * Develop process flow diagrams and perform mass balance closure; * Provide information for preliminary equipment sizing; * Participate in reviewing pilot plant operational procedures, suggesting improvements based on data and evidence; * Critically analyze processes and propose improvements at laboratory-scale, pilot-scale, and industrial-scale; * Provide technical support through analyses and tests for developing studies and projects; * Validate production processes according to established technical specifications; * Address chronic problems with technical support to operations; * Support the project team in evaluating documents and defining technical scopes (FEL); * Ensure organization and cleanliness of work areas, following waste management and selective collection procedures; * Perform other activities as requested by management, aligned with the company’s policies, objectives, and goals; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering; * Experience in planning and executing tests at laboratory-scale, pilot-scale, and industrial-scale, including interpretation of results; * Experience in developing process flow diagrams and mass balances; * Willingness to reside in Aripuanã/MT; **Desirable:** * Knowledge of and/or experience in mineral processing technologies; * Knowledge of project management methodology; * Familiarity with metallurgical software such as JKSimMet and METSIM; **Skills and Competencies:** * Proactive profile; * Teamwork ability; * Clear and objective communication; * Strong influencing capability; **Additional Information** ***Nexa believes in fostering a plural environment where everyone feels comfortable and confident being their authentic selves.*** We are one of the world’s largest zinc producers!
