Job Summary: A professional to provide nursing assistance, monitor patients, support the multidisciplinary team, and ensure patient safety in a hospital setting. Key Highlights: 1. Provide nursing assistance following the SAE 2. Assist the multidisciplinary team in technical procedures 3. Ensure patient safety and prevent adverse events MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide nursing care to patients based on observed needs and following the SAE (Nursing Care Systematization). * Relay information during shift handover according to institutional protocols, ensuring continuity of care. * Carry out actions/interventions planned by the nurse through the clinical care plan, ensuring best practices in care delivery. * Monitor patients and report any changes via effective communication with the nurse to ensure continuity of care. * Assist the multidisciplinary team in technical procedures by facilitating necessary resources for such procedures—including specimen and test collection, bedside procedures, ambulation, upper airway suctioning (UAS), device insertion, wound dressings, among others. * Maintain hygiene in the patient's surroundings through terminal and concurrent cleaning of equipment, preserving proper functionality and identifying malfunctions or maintenance needs. * Assist in the systematic prevention and control of patient harm during healthcare delivery by complying with Patient Safety Goals to avoid adverse and/or sentinel events. * Implement safety practices by adhering to NR32 regulations, occupational medicine guidelines, Hospital Infection Control Service (SCIH), and Occupational Health and Safety Service (SEST).
