Become part of our team as a **Dam Maintenance Operator!** **Key Responsibilities** **Civil Maintenance of Geotechnical Structures:** * Perform slope, berm, and dike reconstruction using soil/riprap. * Construct and maintain surface drainage (ditches, gutters, curbs) and deep drainage (wells, catch basins, drains). * Install and repair civil elements (gabions, Reno mattresses, rip-rap, retaining barriers). * Prepare, place, and cure concrete/lean concrete/mortar for small-scale works (basins, foundations, gutters, energy dissipators). * Install and maintain geosynthetics (geomembranes, geotextiles) per instructions. **Operation and Support for Production/Maintenance:** * Install, inspect, and maintain pipelines, valves, pumps, and tailings/water distribution/return systems. * Perform **cleaning, desilting, and unclogging** of basins, spillways, gutters, and inspection chambers. **Inspections and Instrumentation (technical support):** * Conduct patrols and visual inspections of dams, dikes, and stockpiles to identify signs of erosion, seepage, cracks, settlements, or displacements. * Collect readings from instrumentation (piezometers, staff gauges, monitoring points), record them, and forward to the technical team. * Mark and maintain reference/topographic benchmarks and protective fencing. **Requirements** * Completed high school education * Knowledge of hydraulics **Competencies** * Be an ambassador for the Jaguar brand * Practice our core values * Results-oriented focus * Ability to interact effectively with people * Flexibility and adaptability to change
