**Job Description:**

Grupo Canex, with over 50 years of experience in the sugarcane-alcohol industry, seeks a Tax Assistant to work in the Tax Department. The professional will be responsible for supporting the company's tax routines, including bookkeeping and issuance of electronic invoices, verification of tax documents, organization and control of tax-related information, as well as assistance in fulfilling ancillary tax obligations. The role also involves supporting internal department requests, thereby contributing to tax compliance, process efficiency, and adherence to legal deadlines. We seek organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professionals with strong execution capabilities who contribute to operational efficiency and foster a collaborative, results-oriented work environment.
**Essential Requirements:**

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields;
Interest in working and developing within the tax area;
Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
**Desirable Requirements:**

Prior knowledge of tax routines and electronic tax documents;
Knowledge/experience with the Protheus ERP system.
