Serve and assist customers by offering product suggestions. **About the Position:** ================= The Produce Stocker is responsible for ensuring the quality and availability of fruits, vegetables, and greens in a supermarket's produce department. They must ensure products are always fresh, organized, and appealing to customers. **Mandatory Requirement:** -------------------------- * High school education in progress; **Desirable Requirements:** -------------------------- * Prior experience in this role or related activities; * Knowledge of food safety standards; * Ability to work in a team and interact with the public; * Organizational skills and attention to detail; * Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Receive and inspect produce department merchandise; * Store fruits, vegetables, and greens properly, following food safety standards; * Keep the produce section clean and organized; * Inspect product quality daily and discard items failing to meet standards; * Restock shelves with products, maintaining appropriate and attractive display; * Accurately price products; * Serve and assist customers, answering questions and offering product suggestions; * Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of department equipment and utensils; * Conduct inventory counts and place replenishment orders as needed; * Participate in company-provided training and development programs. ### **Benefits:** * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Attendance bonus or food basket; * Incentives for achieving targets; * Discounts with distance-learning institutions, pharmacies, and other partners; * Shopping discounts; * Transportation allowance; * On-site snacks. ### **Work Schedule and Hours:** * Rotating shift: 6 days on, 1 day off
