Join Nexa and be part of a mining company that moves with the world! **Responsibilities and attributions** * Operate the zinc sulfate production process via leaching of calcine, perform pre\-purification of the solution by removing impurities capable of impairing electrolytic deposition, and recover zinc contained in the neutral underflow remaining from the Calcination and Neutral Leaching process. Support supervision with reliable information for decision-making. Carry out continuous improvement tasks, accident prevention, and environmental preservation. * Perform activities in accordance with safety, health, and environmental procedures, correctly using PPE. * Select and appropriately use tools required for operational tasks. * Interface with Maintenance to request corrective maintenance services and assess the operational conditions of equipment and machines. * Weigh the thickener underflow. * Control pulp temperature by regulating steam addition to maintain temperature levels established in operating procedures. * Identify process anomalies (X's) within the area of operation, reporting them when necessary and providing information to expedite anomaly resolution. * Control sediment in the pulp by collecting and forwarding samples to the chemical laboratory for analysis, to maintain acidity levels established in operating procedures. * Control the addition of raw materials and reagents through weighing and sampling to maintain concentration and acidity levels established in operating procedures. * Move loads using lifting equipment according to established procedures to supply raw materials. * Measure clear liquor level in the thickener. * Enter data into electronic and physical spreadsheets, providing reliable and timely information to guide operations and leadership. * And others. **Requirements and qualifications** **Required Qualifications** Technical education **Desirable Qualifications** Technical education in chemistry/metallurgy **Skills and Competencies** Good interpersonal skills, effective communication, teamwork **Additional Information** ***Nexa believes in fostering a plural environment where everyone feels welcome and comfortable being themselves.*** We are one of the world's largest zinc producers!
