




We are looking for a **Laboratory Technician JR** to join the **Microbiological** team. To perform microbiological analyses of raw materials, finished/intermediate/bulk products to detect the presence of undesirable microorganisms, according to current procedures. Work in microbiological quality control of water, environmental monitoring, and sanitizers. **Responsibilities and duties** * Perform microbiological analyses of raw materials, finished/intermediate/bulk products to detect the presence of undesirable microorganisms, according to current procedures. * Work in microbiological quality control of water, environmental monitoring, and sanitizers. * Conduct culture media fertility tests regarding their capacity to promote microbial growth, considering the appropriate temperature for the tested culture medium; * Support and train assistants, transferring knowledge to develop new professionals in the field; * Assist in laboratory support activities, preparing glassware and similar materials, preparing solutions, as well as ensuring the proper functioning of measurement and testing equipment; * Perform reading and interpretation of analytical results; * Conduct water activity tests on products (bulk, intermediate, finished) and raw materials; * Perform pyrogen/endotoxin analysis, according to specific products and procedures; * Conduct sterility tests according to specific products and procedures; * Carry out activities according to established operational technical standards, following company norms and aspects of quality, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), workplace safety, environmental preservation, and sustainability, as well as use PPEs and uniforms contributing to eliminating situations that could pose risks of accidents, environmental degradation, and product quality issues. **Requirements and qualifications** **Education:** ----------------- * Completed technical course in Laboratory Technology, Clinical Analysis, or related fields; * Or completed higher education in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biomedicine, and related areas. **Knowledge:** ------------------ * Microbiological analyses relevant to the pharmaceutical industry; * Good Laboratory Practices. **Additional information** **Working hours:** ------------------------ * It is necessary to have availability to work on a rotating shift schedule, with previously defined shifts and alternation between night and day shifts, according to team scheduling. Example of a 6x2 schedule, which includes: * Night shift: start at 10 PM and end at 6 AM; * Afternoon/night shift: start at 2 PM and end at 11:30 PM; * Morning/afternoon shift: start at 6 AM, 10 AM, or 12 PM, with departure scheduled up to 2:35 PM; * Alternating days off: work 6 days and rest 2 days. **Work location:** ---------------------- * Pharlab Head Office – Lagoa da Prata/MG.
