Job Summary: The General Assistant supports production process activities, ensuring efficiency and quality by handling materials, operating machinery, and performing operational tasks safely. The General Assistant is responsible for supporting production process activities, ensuring production efficiency and quality. They directly handle materials, operate machinery, and perform operational tasks in compliance with the company's established safety and quality standards. * Assist in operating highly complex machinery to maintain productivity and process accuracy, handling equipment according to established procedures and following instructions from the lead operator. * Prepare and organize materials required for the production process, ensuring continuous line flow by sorting, verifying, and positioning items in an orderly manner. * Feed production lines with inputs and raw materials, maintaining production pace by continuously replenishing necessary components in the equipment. * Monitor production progress and report any irregularities to the supervisor, contributing to rapid problem resolution by observing machine operation and immediately reporting failures or deviations. * Identify and notify Quality Control upon detecting product defects, as instructed, maintaining required standards by visually inspecting items and flagging nonconformities. * Keep the workplace clean and organized, complying with safety and hygiene regulations to promote a safe and efficient environment, performing daily cleaning and disposing of waste in designated locations. * Assist in cleaning and maintaining machinery and equipment used in the production process to prevent failures and extend instrument service life, performing sanitation and providing technical support for basic maintenance tasks. * Organize and store materials and finished products when necessary, optimizing space and facilitating access by classifying and stacking items in designated areas. * Assist in packaging and labeling final products as instructed, ensuring correct identification and preservation, carefully packaging items and applying labels visibly and legibly. Follow occupational safety regulations and operational procedures to protect physical integrity and prevent accidents, attentively observing protocols and respecting defined operational limits. * Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required to safeguard health and avoid risks, wearing mandatory PPE and checking its condition before use. Participate in training related to safety and production processes, continuously updating knowledge and improving performance by attending training sessions and applying acquired knowledge in daily operations
