Professional)**Job Purpose and Impact** -------------------------- The Maintenance Mechanic III will perform complex maintenance and troubleshooting on production or warehouse machinery with in-depth knowledge of a trade or understanding of multiple trades performing under occasional guidance. In this role, you will utilize maintenance and reliability practices to complete preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance to ensure assets are maintained to ensure effectiveness of the facility. **Key Accountabilities** ------------------------ Perform preventive mechanical inspections and maintenance, scheduling machine shutdowns per Cargill’s Maintenance Plan for each equipment and established schedule; interact with operators to identify operational status of each machine (e.g., abnormal noises, temperature deviations, quality issues, sluggish performance, etc.); disassemble equipment as needed to identify root causes and implement preventive measures such as lubrication, temperature adjustment, calibration, alignment adjustments, part repairs, etc., ensuring full equipment functionality and minimizing emergency stoppages; Perform sporadic corrective maintenance on operational/production equipment per work orders and their respective priorities; implement proper lockout procedures and carry out required interventions including disassembly for analysis and repair of parts, components and mechanical accessories; part replacement; adjustments; lubrication, etc. Support startup of new equipment or customization of existing equipment performed by third-party companies, ensuring assembly and installation processes comply with Cargill standards, thereby guaranteeing adherence to Cargill’s project specifications and full equipment functionality. **Qualifications** ------------------ ### **Minimum Qualifications** * Other minimum qualifications may apply At Cargill, every person matters.
