Come join our team as a **GIS Analyst!** **Key Responsibilities** * Capture, convert, integrate, and manage geographic/cartographic data originating from various departments of the company, ensuring proper structuring within computerized spatial data management systems; * Coordinate and produce thematic maps, spatial analyses, and technical studies supporting mining projects, including land use and land cover assessment within GIS environments; * Perform continuous updates of the cartographic database (maps, shapefiles, polygons), including geodetic data harmonization; * Implement and maintain governance for mining and geospatial data, ensuring data integrity, consistency, version control, traceability, and auditability; * Operate and manage the Jazida system, ensuring continuous data updates and information reliability; * Support mining area regularization data management and liaison with competent authorities (ANM, INCRA, IBAMA, among others); * Provide technical support to Mining Rights, Legal, and Sustainability departments in regulatory processes, applications, and due diligence; * Participate in the development and maintenance of web-based GIS platforms (ArcGIS Enterprise), ensuring reliable information access; * Participate in the planning and execution of geospatial data projects and monitoring of mineral exploration activities; * Support geospatial data automation and advanced analytics; * Structure and maintain the corporate geospatial data library, including mining rights, licensed areas, infrastructure, and projects; * Comply with governance policies, compliance requirements, internal controls, and auditing standards. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Earth Sciences or related Exact Sciences fields; * Proven experience in GIS, preferably in mining or other regulated sectors; * Solid experience with ArcGIS and geospatial data management; * Knowledge of georeferencing and mining management; * Experience in remote sensing and spatial analysis; * Experience in data governance, with emphasis on data quality, traceability, and auditability. **Desired Qualifications** * Postgraduate degree in Geoprocessing; * Intermediate English proficiency; * Experience with ANM systems and the Jazida system; * Knowledge of spatial databases and automation (Python/SQL); * Experience with GIS platforms and complementary tools. **Competencies** * Organization and activity management; * Ownership mindset and focus on quality; * Analytical thinking and attention to detail; * Collaborative approach.
