### **Job Summary** The **Maintenance Technician** is responsible for carrying out **preventive and corrective maintenance** activities on machines, equipment, and building facilities, ensuring full operation and preservation of systems. Performs **mechanical repairs, technical adjustments, and maintenance on equipment such as freezers and ovens**, guaranteeing **efficiency, safety, and continuity of operations**. ### **Main Responsibilities** * Interpret **technical drawings, specifications, and measuring instruments**; * Assist in **specifying capacities** of mechanical equipment and components; * Perform **basic lubrication** of machines and equipment; * **Assemble and disassemble** mechanical assemblies; * Check machine **alignment and leveling**; * Carry out **installation, preventive and corrective maintenance** of machines and equipment; * Adjust **control and safety devices** (thermostats, thermo\-hygrometers, pressure switches, rotameters, etc.); * Perform **maintenance on refrigeration systems**, such as freezers, cold rooms, and display cases, checking compressors and temperature controls; * Conduct **repairs and adjustments on industrial and electric ovens**, replacing heating elements, thermostats, and sealing systems; * Analyze **mechanical installation projects** and monitor their execution; * Perform **sensory inspections** (vibration, noise, condition, and operation of equipment); * Request necessary **materials and tools** for service execution; * Properly attend to and record **Service Orders (SO)**; * Ensure **personal and coworker safety** by complying with Health and Safety Management System rules and procedures. ### **Requirements** * **Education:** High School Diploma (completed) * **Experience:** Proven experience in building maintenance, mechanics, or refrigeration; * **Basic knowledge:** Electricity, hydraulics, and mechanics; * **Desirable Technical Courses:** Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration; * **Driver's License Category B (required);** * **Availability** to work at different locations when necessary. ### **Behavioral Competencies** * Proactivity and sense of responsibility; * Organization and attention to detail; * Good communication and teamwork; * Commitment to quality and meeting deadlines.
