Join our family! **About the Role** As a **Logistics Assistant**, you will be responsible for loading and unloading products onto trucks using manual and/or electric pallet jacks, as well as accurately inspecting the integrity of cargo and vehicles at loading docks. You will also maintain organization, cleanliness, and preservation of the area—including cold rooms and shipping areas—ensuring compliance with internal policies, safety, quality, environmental standards, and operational efficiency. **Key Responsibilities** * Load and unload products onto trucks using manual and/or electric pallet jacks. * Inspect the integrity and accuracy of cargo and vehicles available at loading and unloading docks. * Maintain organization, cleanliness, and preservation of the area, including cold rooms, loading docks, and shipping areas. * Comply with and promote operational policies, procedures, and controls related to safety, quality, environment, and occupational health and safety. **Mandatory Requirements** * Completed High School education. * Availability to work rotating shifts (6x1, 6x2, 6x3). * Basic knowledge of cargo, volume, and material integrity inspection. * Knowledge of and adherence to operational procedures, safety, quality, and environmental standards. *McCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
