Job Summary: Perillo, a civil engineering company, is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to lead and architect the evolution of its internal platform. Key Highlights: 1. Perillo is a civil engineering firm specializing in construction project management, with a track record of large-scale projects such as Hemobrás and Unimed. With an increasing focus on digital transformation, the company invests in developing internal systems that centralize construction project, financial, and operational management data — ensuring real-time visibility for teams and leadership across all active projects. Currently, two systems are in operation: * Web application providing construction project management information * Local desktop application (C\# or Java) for entering measurement data and operational information The company aims to expand its platform with new integrated web modules connected to these existing systems and requires a professional capable of end-to-end architectural design for this evolution. This is a strategic role. The Mid-Level Full Stack Developer will serve as the technical leader and software architect for Perillo’s internal development team. More than writing code, the professional will be responsible for designing system architecture, mapping security requirements, defining technology stack and development standards, configuring cloud infrastructure, and mentoring Junior Developers day-to-day. The role demands systemic thinking — understanding the civil construction business, translating internal department needs into well-structured technical solutions, and ensuring software remains secure, scalable, and maintainable over time. Technology Stack The candidate must have solid expertise in the following stack and the ability to make technically sound decisions for each layer: **TypeScript / Node.js** **React** **PostgreSQL** **REST APIs** **Git** **Docker / CI/CD** **Cloud: AWS / Azure / GCP** **Software Architecture** **Application Security** Software Architecture * Design and document architecture for new systems (C4 diagrams, ADRs — Architecture Decision Records) * Define technology stack, design patterns (e.g., Clean Architecture, DDD), and coding conventions for the team * Map and plan integrations between existing systems (web app, desktop app in C\#/Java) and new modules * Select and technically justify database choice per context (PostgreSQL as initial default) * Define API versioning strategies and database schema evolution (migrations) * Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, workflows, and architectural decisions Application Security * Perform threat modeling to identify risks and define security requirements for the entire platform * Design and implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2, RBAC — Role-Based Access Control) * Ensure security in inter-system integrations (input validation, endpoint protection, HTTPS) * Define access policies, sensitive data protection, and action auditing * Apply OWASP Top 10 best practices when building APIs and interfaces DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure * Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines (continuous integration and delivery) * Containerize applications using Docker and manage environments with Docker Compose * Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP): deployment, storage, environment variables, basic networking * Configure monitoring, centralized logging, and alerts (platform observability) * Define and document deployment, rollback, and failure recovery strategies * Manage separate environments for development, staging, and production Back\-end — Development and Integrations * Develop robust, secure, and well-documented REST APIs in Node.js/TypeScript * Implement and review critical business logic for construction, finance, and management modules * Design relational data models in PostgreSQL and maintain migrations * Build technical integrations with the existing desktop application (C\#/Java), mapping protocols and data contracts * Ensure query and database performance Front\-end — Interfaces and Dashboards * Develop and architect scalable, reusable React components * Define interface standards, component organization, and state management * Implement managerial dashboards for visualizing construction projects, financial data, and operational KPIs * Ensure interfaces are responsive, accessible, and performant
