They ensure food quality from receipt through to distribution, verifying temperature, expiration dates, and storage conditions. They also maintain kitchen organization and hygiene, as well as cleanliness of utensils and equipment, complying with all food safety regulations and good handling practices. Additionally, they perform appropriate portioning of meals, operate industrial equipment such as ovens, kettles, and griddles, support distribution activities, and report the need for replenishment of supplies when necessary.
