Job Summary: A Grocery Assistant is responsible for organizing, restocking, and displaying products; ensuring adequate shelf stocking and correct pricing; and providing courteous customer service to deliver an excellent shopping experience. Keep the department clean, organized, and well-stocked The Grocery Assistant ensures organization, restocking, and presentation of grocery department products, guaranteeing appropriate gondola stocking, accurate pricing, and courteous customer service—contributing to an outstanding shopping experience. **Main Responsibilities:** * Restock merchandise on gondolas, shelves, and additional display points; * Organize products according to store layout and internal guidelines; * Verify product expiration dates, quality, and integrity, implementing rotation (FIFO); * Check and adjust price labels and promotional signage; * Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked department throughout store operating hours; * Assist in inventory control and verification of received goods; * Serve and guide customers whenever necessary, with courtesy and attentiveness; * Comply with company safety, hygiene, and operational procedures. **Requirements:** * Completed elementary education; * Prior experience in grocery, restocking, or retail preferred; * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and agility; * Good communication and teamwork spirit; * Availability to work from 1:40 PM to 10:00 PM **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in retail chains or supermarkets; * Knowledge of expiration date control and store layout. **BENEFITS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE** .
