Job Summary: Operate forklifts to ensure efficient material handling and organization, adhering to safety regulations and utilizing inventory management systems. Key Highlights: 1. Operation of forklifts with various capacities (electric, gas, LPG). 2. Material handling and organization in storage environments. 3. Application of safety standards and daily equipment inspections. Job Description: * Operate forklifts of different capacities (electric, gas, LPG) for loading, unloading, and material handling. * Stack and unstack loads, ensuring warehouse or yard organization and space optimization. * Conduct daily operational checks (checklist) on equipment conditions, including oil level, battery, tires, brakes, and signage. * Transport materials to production lines or shipping areas according to requests and priorities. * Package and consolidate loads onto pallets using appropriate palletizing and securing methods. * Record material movements in inventory management systems (WMS) or designated forms. Requirements * Possess a certified Forklift Operator training course compliant with NR-11, with up-to-date training. * Demonstrate proven experience operating counterbalanced and/or reach forklifts. * Solid knowledge of safety regulations for cargo-handling equipment operation. * Ability to identify basic preventive maintenance procedures for forklifts. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting work orders, invoices, and product identification labels. Skills * Maneuver forklifts in narrow spaces and high-density storage environments. * Stack and retrieve loads at elevated shelf or rack heights. * Perform precise loading and unloading of trailers and trucks. * Identify and report basic mechanical or electrical faults in equipment. * Apply load-balancing techniques to ensure stability and safety during material handling.
