We are seeking a **Mechanical Maintenance Assistant** to work at the **Continental Mill**, located in **Colômbia/SP**. **Responsibilities and duties** **WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL LOOK LIKE:** * **Scaffold Assembly/Disassembly:** * Assemble, install, and adjust scaffold systems according to project specifications and specific instructions. * Ensure scaffolds are assembled in compliance with safety standards and technical specifications. * Safely dismantle scaffolds following established procedures. * Guarantee all scaffold components are properly dismantled and stored for reuse. * **Inspection and Verification:** * Inspect scaffolds before and after assembly, verifying the safety and stability of all elements. * Identify any defects or issues with scaffolds and immediately report them to supervisors. * **Workplace Safety:** * Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required for assigned tasks. * Strictly comply with occupational safety regulations and operational procedures. * **Organization and Storage:** * Efficiently and safely organize tools, materials, and scaffold components. * Maintain and preserve the durability of equipment used in assembly and disassembly. * **Team Collaboration:** * Collaborate with professionals from various service areas and other scaffold assemblers. * Follow leadership guidance and instructions to ensure task efficiency. * **Documentation and Reporting:** * Record and report any incidents or problems occurring during work execution. * Maintain records of scaffold inspections and authorizations. **Requirements and qualifications** **WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:** * Completed elementary education; * Knowledge of maintenance, assembly, and disassembly will be considered a plus; * Availability to work rotating shifts and on a 5x1 schedule. * Residency in **Barretos/SP, Colômbia/SP, or Planura/MG.** **Additional information** **SELECTION PROCESS STEPS:** Our process includes three main stages (additional stages may apply, and you’ll be informed if you advance): * Application—completion of this form and additional data, if required. * HR interview—a conversational meeting to get to know each other. * Leadership interview—a more technical discussion about daily responsibilities and challenges.
