Job Summary: An Occupational Safety professional responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring workplace safety, preventing accidents, and promoting occupational health. Key Highlights: 1. Prevent accidents and promote a safe and healthy working environment RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES: * Monitor and supervise occupational safety-related activities to ensure safe conditions that eliminate or minimize workplace accident risks, guiding and raising employee awareness of activity hazards and control measures to prevent accidents. * Monitor compliance with regulatory standards and current legislation. * Conduct workplace inspections to identify unsafe behaviors and conditions, eliminating risk situations. * Conduct TBI (Initial Safety Training) for new employees, periodic and refresher training to raise awareness and disseminate safety procedures and current regulatory standards. * Foster a preventive mindset among employees to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. * Investigate and analyze accident causes and the environmental conditions in which they occurred to prevent recurrence. * File the CAT (Work Accident Communication Form) according to the occurrence of a work accident or occupational disease. * Complete accident indicator spreadsheets. * Annually conduct the CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention) election process, deliver training, and hold monthly meetings with CIPA members as stipulated by regulatory standards. * Establish and organize the Fire Brigade in accordance with the number of employees and technical standards. * Conduct fire evacuation route training and drills for all employees to comply with legal requirements and ensure effective emergency response. * Conduct monthly inspections of fire protection systems (fire extinguishers, hoses, wrenches, cylinders, emergency lighting, and signage). * Monitor and perform fire extinguisher recharging and hydrostatic testing, as well as hose testing. * Annually organize SIPAT (Internal Week for Accident Prevention). * Monitor the development, review, and expiration of safety programs (PPRA – Environmental Risk Prevention Program and PCMSO – Occupational Health Surveillance Program). * Monthly manage periodic medical examinations, monitor and refer employees to the occupational medicine clinic for their periodic exams. * Verify the ASO (Occupational Health Certificate) after completion of the periodic examination. * Develop and review Risk Maps for each department. * Daily monitor mandatory use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to eliminate workplace accident risks. * Manage PPE control, procurement, and distribution to employees. * Analyze, inspect, monitor, and supervise activities performed by third-party contractors regarding compliance with regulatory standards and current legislation. * Maintain records of employee documents and third-party legal documents related to occupational safety. * Monitor and inspect first-aid kits across departments, verifying whether first-aid items are expired or incomplete, and arrange for replenishment. * Monitor dosimetry results from dosimeters used by Radiology Technicians. * Monitor and enforce mandatory use of dosimeters by employees exposed to ionizing radiation. REQUIREMENTS: Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety, registered with the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) Minimum 2 years of experience in the field Experience in the Health sector is desirable
