Job Summary: Optimize Agromercantil’s decision-making by producing information and tools, working on projects while considering each department’s needs. Key Highlights: 1. Optimize business decision-making through data and tools. 2. Develop and implement data- and technology-based solutions. 3. Collaborate with various company departments for alignment and validation. **Purpose of the Position** Produce information and tools that optimize Agromercantil’s business decision-making, working on projects while considering each department’s and its processes’ needs. **Responsibilities and Activities** * Receive and qualify requests from various company departments, clearly and systematically mapping problems and needs. * Analyze and diagnose critical points and root causes based on interpretation of data, indicators, and related processes. * Formulate solution proposals grounded in concrete data, suggesting viable alternatives supported by analytical evidence. * Submit solutions to the requesting departments’ responsible parties, promoting technical alignment and validation with the immediate supervisor. * Develop and implement data-based solutions, applying technological tools, automation, visualization, and data science techniques. * Lead kick-off meetings with stakeholders, aligning project scope, timelines, and goals for data-related initiatives. * Monitor performance of implemented solutions, adjusting or enhancing them according to obtained results. * Maintain active communication with partner departments to ensure proper use of solutions. **Requirements** * High school diploma, with certifications applicable to the field (SQL and/or Python) **Desirable:** * 2–5 years of experience in this role **Behavioral Competencies We Seek:** * Proactivity * Collaborative mindset * Logical reasoning * Resilience * Critical thinking * Communication skills * Sense of urgency * Priority management * Organization and articulation of ideas * Risk awareness * Focused attention * Innovation orientation **Technical Competencies We Seek:** * Knowledge of data modeling and data mining techniques * Technical English proficiency * Knowledge of descriptive statistics * Knowledge of Agile project management (methodology) * Knowledge of programming logic
