Responsible for receiving, organizing, and preparing cotton samples for analysis and pressing, ensuring accurate fiber classification. Enters and verifies data in an information system, assists with cleaning the work area, and follows safety regulations. Works to maintain process accuracy and workplace organization. * Receive cotton samples to initiate the fiber classification process daily upon receipt; * Organize cotton samples at the analysis site to streamline the process and prevent sample mix-ups as needed; * Enter and verify analysis results, controlling and recording data in an information system on a regular basis; * Prepare cotton samples for pressing by removing and discarding labels as required; . Perform other related tasks as needed or at the discretion of the immediate supervisor.
