Strategic involvement in team management and project development Description: Basic requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Construction Management or related fields. * At least 10 years of experience in construction management within large-scale sectors (e.g., infrastructure, manufacturing, energy), including on-site construction roles. * Proven experience reviewing and supporting construction activities in large-scale projects (exceeding USD 200 million), including risk assessment and mitigation. * Solid experience in construction safety, quality assurance, and contractor management. * Fluency in English. Preferred qualifications: * Experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) and Last Planner System (LPS) methodologies. * Prior experience in consulting, training, or project evaluation is a plus. Detailed Description: * Solid experience in construction safety, quality assurance, and contractor management. * Ensure development of viable projects, observing technical, environmental, legal, and compliance criteria, as well as meeting organizational objectives within scheduled timelines, budget constraints, and according to strategic premises contracted by the client. * Ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices in project management and implementation—whether executed by internal professionals or through technical adequacy of suppliers or service providers engaged under current contracts. * Monitor engineering project progress from technical, schedule, and quality-delivery perspectives, as well as contracted deliverables from external companies, via rigorous monitoring and application of project governance rules, ensuring alignment with approved contracts. * Establish interface with the implementation lead and ensure proper handover (final delivery) through alignment of assumptions and receipt of sign-offs (release documentation). * Define performance indicators for projects under your responsibility, monitor results, propose and implement corrective actions when necessary, aiming to achieve defined targets. * Ensure corrections of as-built documentation identified by the implementation team to guarantee fidelity between design and actual execution. * Provide operational guidance to the team and assign tasks to be performed in the area, facilitating and integrating team work to enhance collective efforts toward achieving results. * Be accountable for applying personnel competencies and time allocations to operations under your responsibility, evaluating workload demands, individual needs, and compliance with legal requirements—ensuring administrative aspects of employment relationships (e.g., vacations, timekeeping, role or location changes) are properly managed in coordination with the immediate manager. * Ensure all employees and/or third parties under your responsibility understand and comply with company policies and procedures, and maintain up-to-date training for operational execution per established procedures. * Evaluate employee and candidate performance, proposing allocation, development, and management actions to maximize competency utilization, retain high-potential talent, and build appropriately balanced teams—aiming for sustainability, equitable treatment, employee satisfaction, and organizational results. * Request disciplinary actions or penalties from HR or Risk Management in cases of non-compliance with company policies and procedures. * Develop competencies of subordinates, ensuring their participation in promoted events and effectiveness of succession plans for management and critical positions. * Perform operational duties in the area when necessary, aiming to address technical demands and train professionals for specific functions. * Direct activities required to mature projects, aiming to compose the following year’s project portfolio. * Act per instructions from the contract manager / support team to ensure process standardization. 2512160202201868033
