This professional will be responsible for providing technical support in the installation, maintenance, and configuration of vehicle monitoring and telemetry systems for light and heavy vehicles. Job Description: The Vehicle Tracking Technical Assistant directly handles the installation and maintenance of tracking devices (GPS/GPRS), immobilizers, sensors, and other electronic accessories used in vehicles. Main Responsibilities: - Install GPS trackers in various types of vehicles, including light-duty, utility, and trucks. - Install ignition immobilization systems and cut-off devices. - Route and organize wiring harnesses to ensure proper equipment operation. - Perform basic device configuration and testing to verify correct functionality. - Diagnose and resolve simple electrical faults that may arise. - Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on installed equipment. - Provide on-site technical support by attending to customer requests in the field. - Complete service orders clearly and accurately. - Assist with equipment removal and reinstallation as required.
