Job Summary: Professional responsible for the safe and efficient operation of overhead cranes, assessing risks, preparing the work area, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Compliance with technical and environmental standards **JOB DESCRIPTION** ------------------- Participate in the Daily Safety and Productivity Dialogue (DDSP); Inspect crane safety items before use; Assess risks inherent in load handling (load weight, travel path, and safety of involved personnel); Evaluate machine operating conditions prior to use; Prepare the work area for machine operation; Lift loads with guidance from the Rigger’s signals; Organize materials and work equipment upon completion of the task; Perform assigned tasks in accordance with applicable technical procedures and current quality, safety, environmental, and health standards. **JOB REQUIREMENTS** -------------------- * Completed elementary education; * Basic professional qualification course as an overhead crane operator or equivalent, up to 200 hours.
