We are looking for a Mining Engineer to oversee the technical management of mineral exploration projects and mining operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and high standards of safety, sustainability, and governance. Main Responsibilities **Regulatory Management, Licensing, and Legal Compliance** * Plan and manage mining operations, ensuring adherence to legal deadlines, inspections, and regulatory requirements. * Prepare and monitor technical documents such as RAL, DIPEM, photographic reports, and other items required by ANM and environmental agencies. * Serve as the technical responsible for mining operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, legislation, and procedures. * Obtain, renew, and monitor environmental licenses, ensuring full compliance with all conditions. * Manage the use of explosives in accordance with regulations set by the Brazilian Army. * Monitor and report mining, environmental, and regulatory obligations to senior management. **Planning, Mining Operations, and Technical Safety** * Provide technical guidance for mining and mine development operations, including equipment, workforce, and cost estimations. * Supervise mined and exploration areas, maintaining alignment with approved projects. * Assess geotechnical conditions of mining faces, slopes, stockpiles, and tailings deposits, proposing preventive and corrective actions. * Collaborate with SESMT on operational safety and explosive usage topics. * Oversee specialized services performed by third parties (geology, surveying, blasting, drilling, etc.). * Stay updated on mining legislation and industry best practices. **Mining Asset Management and Strategic Planning** * Manage the group's mining assets, reporting progress and status of titles to senior management. * Monitor action plans related to environmental compensation areas and waste disposal sites. * Develop strategic plans for mineral exploration, mine development, relinquishment, and other stages of the mining lifecycle. * Contribute to planning for environmental rehabilitation and mine closure. **Budgetary Management, KPIs, and Control** * Prepare and monitor departmental budget spreadsheets. * Propose and monitor performance indicators for mining operations. * Produce monthly and quarterly management reports, including technical analyses and performance tracking. **Governance, Communication, and Executive Support** * Support senior management and shareholders in decision-making by providing technical information and participating in strategic meetings. * Technically validate deliverables from service providers and consultants. * Ensure document organization, traceability, and compliance for audits. * Suggest continuous improvements to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and safety. * Act in accordance with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct. **Why Join Our Team?** * A company recognized nationally and internationally in the sector * A growth-oriented, innovative, and high-performance environment * Strategic and challenging projects * Attractive and competitive market compensation * A strong culture of ethics, development, and sustainability
