This is an on-site role focused on guaranteeing technical and operational compliance. The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, requiring constant alignment with Schneider Electric standards and the refinery’s specific requirements. **Responsibilities:** Physical Inspection: Conduct detailed visual and physical inspections of control panels, components, wiring, and terminals, ensuring full compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Functional Testing: Perform tests on input/output modules, power supplies, and communication systems to ensure controllers (DCS and Triconex) respond correctly to field signals. Standards Compliance: Verify that system installation and operation comply with industrial technical standards and safety regulations (e.g., ISA, IEC 61508/61511), particularly for Triconex systems, which are designed for critical safety applications (SIS – Safety Instrumented Systems). Fault Diagnosis: Identify and diagnose issues or potential failures in panels and components using diagnostic tools and, when required, programming and configuration software (e.g., TriStation for Triconex). Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all inspections conducted, non-conformities identified, corrective actions taken, and maintenance dates. Commissioning Support: Participate in commissioning and startup phases of new panels or systems, ensuring proper integration with the rest of the plant. (External) Brazilian Portuguese Qualifications: **Requirements and Qualifications:** Technical Education: Technical degree in Industrial Automation, Electronics, Electrotechnics, or related fields, with active registration at CREA or equivalent regulatory body. A degree in Control and Automation Engineering is a plus. Specific Knowledge: Proven experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Schneider Electric Triconex systems. Certifications: Certifications in functional safety (e.g., CFSE or CFSP) and in specific technologies (Triconex, specific DCS platforms) are highly valued. Knowledge of Brazilian and international technical standards (ABNT, IEC, ISA). Experience with engineering tools such as EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical. Technical documentation management and version control.
