




Description: About the position: The Kitchen Assistant plays a fundamental role in the operation of our kitchen, ensuring efficiency and quality in food preparation. Main responsibilities: The Kitchen Assistant provides high-quality service aimed at fulfilling the company’s mission of generating value for people by delivering to customers/suppliers: appropriate products/services, agility, courtesy, efficiency, and effectiveness in service. Responsibilities include: * Reporting to superiors and providing accountability regarding performance of duties; * Assisting in food preparation (chopping, shredding, packaging ingredients) and displaying food in refrigerated display units; * Assisting in sauce and broth preparation; * Storing doughs in refrigerated areas according to food safety standards; * Assembling dishes according to customer requests and menu specifications; * Keeping the display case clean, organized, and fully stocked according to standard product mix; * Transporting food, utensils, and materials; * Assisting in monitoring food temperatures using thermometers and recording data in temperature logs as per SOPs; * Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized workplace, using only approved cleaning products as specified in SOPs; * Assisting in checking food expiration dates and sensory attributes (color, odor, texture, appearance, and taste); * Labeling and packaging food (in-store); * Washing, storing, and organizing used materials, equipment, and utensils; * Assisting in waste control; Mandatory requirements:* Completed Elementary School; * Knowledge of Culinary Techniques; * Knowledge of Food Preservation; * Familiarity with kitchen utensils and household appliances; * Basic understanding of Food Safety and Occupational Safety; * Basic knowledge of regulations such as Visa, Procon, and IPEM. Desirable requirements (advantage):* Completed High School. Benefits: Work schedule and working hours: Our work schedule follows a 6-days-on/1-day-off rotation, including weekends and holidays.
