APPRENTICE CLEANING ASSISTANT

Job Summary: Assist with the cleaning of sectors, bathrooms, and surfaces; organize cleaning materials and equipment to ensure environmental maintenance and organization. Key Highlights: 1. Assistance with general cleaning and waste collection. 2. Organization of cleaning products and equipment. 3. Maintenance of cleanliness and organization in various environments. ### **JOB DESCRIPTION** Assist with general sector cleaning, including internal collection of common and recyclable waste, excluding biological waste requiring airborne and contact precautions; Assist with bathroom cleaning, glass cleaning, and horizontal and vertical surface cleaning—including tables, countertops, walls, ceilings, curtains, blinds, and windows—by sweeping and washing to maintain clean and organized areas; Assist with cleaning and refilling soap dispensers, toilet paper holders, and other cleaning supplies in containers, replenishing items as needed; Load and program the washing machine to keep cloths and mops clean; Organize boxes containing personal protective equipment (PPE) kits and assist in completing staff records for the department; Organize the inventory of cleaning products and equipment, and assist in sorting and distributing materials for cleaning tasks; Organize the functional trolley and/or basket according to company-established standards; Assist in verifying product identification labels and expiration dates per company standards; Perform related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor, based on individual competencies. ### **JOB REQUIREMENTS** MINIMUM EDUCATION: Currently enrolled in Elementary School.
