Job Summary: A furniture metalworker fabricates and assembles metal structures—such as tables, chairs, and shelves—with a focus on cutting, welding, finishing, and reading technical drawings. Job Description: The furniture metalworker fabricates and assembles metal structures—including tables, chairs, and shelves—primarily working with aluminum, stainless steel, steel, and iron. Tasks include cutting, welding (MIG/TIG), finishing, drilling, and interpreting technical drawings. Prior experience in metal carpentry, attention to detail, and sanding skills are required. **Main Responsibilities and Activities:** * **Fabrication:** Cut, bend, drill, and weld metal tubes and sheets to create furniture structures. * **Welding:** Apply welding techniques—especially MIG—to join parts precisely and robustly. * **Finishing:** Sand, grind, and polish components to ensure a smooth, burr-free surface ready for painting. * **Assembly:** Assemble metal structures according to technical drawings or blueprints, ensuring proper alignment and accurate dimensions. * **Collaborative Work:** Support carpentry in joining materials (metal \+ wood/glass) when required. **Common Requirements:** * Proven experience in metalworking, preferably in furniture production. * Proficiency in MIG welding and cutting tools (band saw, angle grinder). * Ability to interpret technical drawings. * Organization and attention to final finish. **Job Profile (On-site):** * Permanent position (CLT).
