Job Summary: Responsible for assisting the driller in drilling operations, mobilization and demobilization of the drilling site, preparing drilling fluids, and collecting samples. Key Highlights: 1. Assistance in drilling operations and rig moves. 2. Active participation in the assembly and disassembly of drilling rigs. 3. Preparation of drilling fluids and sample collection. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** * Assist the driller in performing rig moves and drilling operations, as well as in mobilization and demobilization activities at the drilling site. * Complete the Special Work Permit (PTE) form, recording start and end times of the work shift, location where the task will be performed, and required PPE for activity execution. * Participate in the drilling site layout compliance checklist. * Assist in mobilization and demobilization of the drilling site by assembling and disassembling rig components. * Construct, under supervision, anchor bolts, chutes, drilling fluid tanks, and waste containment dikes to ensure the drilling site is properly prepared for drilling operations. * Prepare drilling fluid (mud) according to work instructions, aiming for rheological properties suitable for the geological formation. * Collect core samples, perform measurements, and record depth, footage advanced, and recovery rates of rig moves in sample boxes and logs, ensuring traceability of core samples. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Completed elementary education; * Prior experience in this role is desirable; * Immediate availability to start and travel; * Availability to work within the state of Minas Gerais.
