Support for Business Intelligence initiatives using strategic data São Paulo, SP Mid-Level About the Role: We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong cloud environment experience to build and evolve data architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This person will be responsible for designing and optimizing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses, working with large volumes of data from legacy systems and ensuring efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines. The role involves strategic engagement in structuring modern data platforms that support advanced analytics and business insight generation. Responsibilities: ✔ Design and implement data architectures for Data Lakes and Data Warehouses on GCP ✔ Perform data extraction and ingestion from legacy systems such as Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB ✔ Develop data pipelines using services like Cloud Storage, DataFlow, Composer, Airflow, CloudSQL, and BigQuery ✔ Create and optimize data processing and transformation routines using Python and Pandas ✔ Manipulate and process data in formats such as Parquet ✔ Execute and optimize BigQuery queries for large-scale data analysis ✔ Implement and maintain data architectures based on the medallion model (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) ✔ Ensure data flow quality, standardization, and efficiency ✔ Support Business Intelligence initiatives through Data Warehouse structuring and provision of data for strategic analysis Requirements: ✔ Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ✔ Knowledge of Cloud Storage, DataFlow, Composer, Airflow, CloudSQL, Dataplex, and BigQuery ✔ Experience building Data Lakes and Data Warehouses ✔ Hands-on experience with the medallion architecture for organizing data pipelines ✔ Experience developing data processing routines in Python ✔ Experience using Pandas for data manipulation and transformation ✔ Experience processing data in Parquet format ✔ Advanced knowledge of BigQuery query writing and performance optimization ✔ Experience with data governance, including cataloging and data glossary processes Nice-to-Haves: ➕ Experience in modernizing cloud-based data platforms ➕ Experience in data migration projects from legacy systems to cloud environments ➕ Knowledge of analytical data modeling ➕ Experience with data visualization and analysis tools supporting BI Work Model: Hybrid What You’ll Find at Maitha: Individual Development Experience for soft skills, with guidance throughout your journey; Well-being Management with tracking of metrics and indicators on satisfaction evolution; Training sessions, workshops, and meetups for soft and hard skill development; Rewards program with points and prizes; TotalPass offering multiple plan options and over 250 modalities, including weight training, cross-training, yoga, dance, and much more; And much more!
