Ensure software quality through best practices. **Junior Software Development Analyst** ================================================== TOTVS \| São Paulo \- SP \| Remote Job Description Develop and maintain low-to-medium complexity software features, contributing to the delivery of solutions that add value to the product and enhance customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the development team, applying defined best practices, tools, and technologies to ensure technical and functional quality of deliverables within the scope of responsibility. Responsibilities and Duties · Develop technical solutions with moderate supervision and support, based on software requirements and using project-defined technologies. · Understand and apply software architecture, analyzing its components, structure, and functionality to ensure coherent implementation aligned with system design. · Create and execute low-complexity tests—manual or automated—to validate the expected behavior of developed components, using available requirements and testing tools. · Document developed solutions clearly and systematically, enabling end-user understanding and facilitating software maintenance. · Collaborate with the development team, participating in the search for technical, business, and architectural solutions, promoting knowledge sharing and effective communication. · Ensure software quality by applying defined processes, tools, and best practices for the product and underlying technology. · Use established frameworks and patterns, adapting them appropriately to product development needs. Requirements and Qualifications Experience with ADVPL language; Experience with PROTHEUS. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields (preferred, but not mandatory if currently pursuing). Desirable Qualifications * Programming logic. * Basic knowledge of relational databases. * Basic knowledge of the ADVPL programming language. * Fundamentals of unit testing. * Basic concepts of web architecture. * Basic knowledge of Protheus. * Work during Mexico time zone hours until the developer achieves full autonomy. Desirable: * Familiarity with agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). * Experience with source code versioning tools. * Awareness of automated testing. * Knowledge of Spanish language.
