This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in data engineering who want to grow in **modern architectures, scalable pipelines, and cloud environments**. You will collaborate closely with more experienced professionals, actively contributing to solutions that support business analytics and decision-making. ### **Take a look at the challenges awaiting you as a Senior Data Engineer at BV:** * Develop and maintain **data ingestion and transformation pipelines**; * Work with **Lakehouse**; * Operate in **GCP and Databricks** environments; * Design and evolve data structures in **BigQuery and Delta Lake**; * Support the definition and implementation of **dimensional and relational modeling** (Star Schema, Snowflake, etc.); * Ensure **data quality, consistency, and security**; * Support cloud performance and cost monitoring activities; * Collaborate with business areas and data teams. ### **So, does this resonate with you? Now we’d like to know whether you possess the following profile and knowledge:** * Experience as a **Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer**; * Strong **SQL** skills; * Experience with **Python** and **Spark / PySpark**; * Hands-on experience with **GCP** (BigQuery, GCS, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, or Dataproc); * Practical experience with **Databricks**; * Knowledge of **pipeline orchestration and automation** (Airflow/Composer); * Familiarity with **CI/CD and code versioning** (Git). ### **The following would be considered advantages:** * Experience with **Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, or MLflow**; * Knowledge of **DBT**; * Understanding of **data governance, data quality, and LGPD**; * Interest in **AI applied to data** (RAG, LLMs, predictive models).
