BUDGET ANALYST

Description

Job Summary: Responsible for preparing, controlling, and reviewing civil construction budgets, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Key Highlights: 1. Technical support and compliance with standards Preparation and control of civil construction budgets, including quantity take-offs, quotations, and supplier negotiations. Monitoring costs during project execution, supporting Engineering and Procurement teams in identifying more efficient solutions, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and legislation. Participation in multidisciplinary meetings and maintenance of an updated cost database. * Prepare civil construction budgets (buildings, infrastructure, industrial and/or urban projects), considering materials, labor, equipment, outsourced services, etc.; perform quantity take-offs from civil engineering project drawings, interpreting plans, descriptive memoranda, and technical specifications; * Conduct quotations and negotiations with suppliers and service providers to develop up-to-date cost compositions; * Control and review budgets during execution, identifying deviations and proposing adjustments or cost revisions; * Support the Engineering and Procurement departments in developing technical alternatives and solutions that yield cost savings and improved efficiency; * Ensure budgets comply with applicable standards, current legislation, regulatory body requirements, and internal company standards; * Participate in alignment meetings with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, planning, procurement, finance, and commercial); maintain an updated cost database (inputs, cost compositions, productivity indices).
