Job Summary: A professional responsible for fabric laying and cutting, interpreting patterns to ensure optimal material utilization, while maintaining an organized workplace and equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for fabric laying and precise cutting. 2. Interpretation of patterns and nesting to optimize cutting. 3. Equipment maintenance and maintaining an organized workplace. * Lay fabrics according to technical specification sheet requirements. * Perform fabric cutting manually or using cutting machines (knife, disc, saw, or automatic). * Interpret patterns, markings, and nesting to ensure correct piece cutting. * Verify measurements, quantities, and fabric types prior to cutting. * Ensure optimal fabric utilization, avoiding waste. * Sort and identify cut pieces for forwarding to sewing. * Maintain a clean and organized workplace. * Perform basic maintenance and proper care of cutting equipment. * Adhere to occupational safety regulations and use of PPE.
