Requirements in Metallurgy, Chemistry, or Materials SERENG is an engineering company specialized in Projects, Consulting, Project Management, Technical Support, and Asset Management (Maintenance), serving diverse industrial sectors! **Responsibilities and Duties** * This position requires developing and applying techniques for sample preparation and metallographic and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analyses aimed at revealing the microstructures of steels, phases, and morphologies of galvanized coatings (GI/GA/GL/ZM); * Participate in experiments, collecting and interpreting data to execute R&D projects and studies; * Perform metallographic analyses, mechanical tests, and product characterization tests, collecting and interpreting results; * Procure, store, and manage consumables required for the operation of the metallography/SEM/EDS laboratory; * Maintain equipment, instruments, and physical facilities of the physical metallurgy laboratory in good working condition; * Carry out activities in compliance with environmental protection procedures recommended by operational technical standards; * Perform related tasks as required by service needs; * Comply with company standards applicable to your work area (corporate, technical, and operational standards); * Report anomalies identified in your work area or elsewhere in the company, recording them in the appropriate system; * Propose improvements to standards related to your activities. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Knowledge in the field of microstructures and metallographic analyses, and practical application of such knowledge; * Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemistry, or Materials – technical, technological, or higher education degree; a background in metallurgy combined with prior knowledge of microscopy is ideal. **Additional Information** * Health insurance; * Life insurance; * Meal allowance; * Transportation allowance; * Wellhub (GYMPASS) membership.
