Continuous process improvement and reduction of rework through engineering support. **## OPPORTUNITY TO WORK IN CURITIBA AT CIC — The company is located 1,000 meters from the CIC terminal ##** **About the Position:** **Main Responsibilities** Interpret 2D technical drawings and 3D models. Define machining strategies for technical parts and complex geometries. Program machining centers (3- and 4-axis), milling machines, and CNC lathes using CAD/CAM software or FANUC systems. Select appropriate cutting tools, workholding fixtures, and cutting parameters for materials (e.g., tool steels, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.). Perform machining simulations to prevent collisions and optimize processes. Generate, review, and adjust CNC codes according to machine controller requirements. Support trial runs, first-piece validation, and on-floor process adjustments. Collaborate with engineering and setup teams to continuously improve processes and reduce rework. **Requirements** Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, Toolmaking, or related fields. Proven experience in CAD/CAM programming within manufacturing and/or tooling environments, including both serial production (large-scale manufacturing) and non-serial machining (e.g., one-off parts, molds, dies, and high-complexity fixtures). Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and dimensional tolerances. Knowledge of machining strategies for machining centers, milling machines, and CNC lathes. Advanced proficiency in software such as **Edgecam** or equivalent, **SolidWorks**, and **FANUC** systems.
