Electrical Engineer – Substations

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to assume a strategic role in operations, with full technical responsibility for high-complexity field activities and direct leadership over specialized teams.
This position is for those who go beyond management: **it is responsible for ensuring every technical intervention is executed with excellence, safety, and precision.**
Key Responsibilities
* **Assume full technical responsibility for substation operations**, ensuring service quality and reliability
* **Manage and develop field teams**, ensuring high execution standards for activities such as:
* Insulating oil treatment, filtration, and replacement
* Interventions on large power transformers
* Repair of high-complexity oil leaks
* Electrical testing and diagnostics (thermography, ultrasonics, lightning protection systems)
* Protection relay testing
* **Plan, structure, and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance routines**, focusing on performance and operational continuity
* **Technically validate reports, assessments, and diagnostics**, ensuring consistency and reliability of information delivered to clients
* **Supervise operation of critical equipment**, such as thermal vacuum and oil treatment systems
* **Participate in technical decision-making on-site**, especially in highly critical scenarios
* **Serve as the primary technical interface with clients**, conveying confidence, expertise, and credibility in deliverables
* **Bridge operations and business outcomes**, providing technical support to the commercial team in developing solutions and proposals
Requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering
* Solid experience in substation maintenance
* Experience leading technical field teams
* Knowledge of medium- and high-voltage equipment
* Leadership profile, decision-making ability, and technical accountability
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with insulating oil and regeneration processes
* Experience with large power transformers
* Experience with electrical testing and protection systems
* Experience in industrial environments or the electrical sector
