This network aims to position us as Brazil’s leading private healthcare provider network. **\#joinbaia.sulhospital \#joinhospitalcare \#joinhospitalcare \#baia.sulhospitalcaregroup** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Responsibilities and Duties** **Job Mission** ------------------- **Responsible for structuring, leading, and ensuring the execution of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) strategy, ensuring legal compliance, mitigation of occupational risks, and strengthening of the safety culture—with emphasis on prevention, biosafety, and people management within the SESMT framework.** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Main Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Strategic OHS Management * Develop, implement, and monitor the Master Plan for Occupational Safety. * Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (NRs), labor laws, and sanitary legislation. * Serve as the technical responsible for the SESMT. * Conduct internal audits and accompany inspections by the Ministry of Labor, Sanitary Surveillance, and other regulatory agencies. * Manage safety indicators (frequency rate, severity rate, absenteeism, CAT, FAP, NTEP). * Prepare executive reports and presentations for senior management. * Manage biological, chemical, physical, ergonomic, and accident-related risks. * Implement and manage the PGR (Risk Management Program). * Manage the PCMSO (Occupational Health Monitoring Program) in coordination with the occupational physician. * Implement biosafety protocols. * Manage healthcare service waste (PGRSS). * Operate in critical areas. * Manage PPEs and collective protective equipment according to identified risks. * Investigate and analyze accidents involving biological material. * People and SESMT Management * Lead technical teams (safety technicians, occupational nurses, interns). * Develop a continuous training plan. * Conduct daily safety talks (DDS) and mandatory trainings (NR\-06, NR\-01, NR\-17, among others). * Act as a cultural transformation agent in safety. * Maintain strategic interfaces with HR, Clinical Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Technical Requirements** ------------------------------------ * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. * Postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering. * Active registration with CREA. * Proven consolidated experience. * Demonstrated experience managing teams. * Experience serving as SESMT responsible. * In-depth knowledge of NRs, especially: NR\-01 NR\-06 NR\-07 NR\-09 NR\-15 NR\-17 NR\-23 * Experience with eSocial (S\-2210, S\-2220, S\-2240\). * Experience conducting audits and regulatory inspections. * Knowledge of OHS indicators and statistical accident analysis. **Preferred Qualifications** ---------------- * Experience in medium- and large-scale service companies. * Experience with accreditation processes. * Experience implementing customer safety culture. * Additional certifications in management or leadership. **Behavioral Competencies** -------------------------------- * Inspirational leadership and influence capability. * Assertive communication with clinical and executive audiences. * Data-driven decision-making. * Proactive posture and sense of urgency. * Conflict management. * High analytical capacity. * Systemic vision. **Expected Performance Indicators** ---------------------------------------- * Reduction in accident and absenteeism rates. * Legal compliance (zero penalties). * Increased adherence to correct PPE usage. * Engagement of clinical leaders in safety practices. * Advancement in OHS culture maturity. **Additional Information** **Work Model: 100% On-site** --------------------------------------- **Working Hours: 08:00–18:00 Monday to Thursday; 08:00–17:00 Friday** ------------------------------------------------------- At Hospital Care, we believe that *“uniting is the best way to care,”* so join us in this journey.
