Description

**DESCRIPTION:** Drive vehicles to move and transport materials in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable national traffic legislation, technical specifications, quality requirements, safety standards, and environmental protection. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Operate vehicles equipped for sugarcane movement and transportation within or outside the company premises, traveling to designated fields or other specified locations to carry out scheduled activities. * Conduct daily (checklist-based) inspections of vehicle and equipment operating conditions, identifying maintenance needs and performing minor preventive maintenance to ensure operational readiness and functionality. * Perform maneuvers in predetermined areas, moving according to required techniques while observing crop rows, terrain irregularities, contour lines, nearby agricultural workers’ work fronts, and adhering to productivity and safety standards outlined in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) when operating in agricultural areas. * Drive at speeds appropriate for the location and road conditions, complying with current traffic laws to prevent vehicle damage, accident risks, and delays in task completion. * Park and wait for loading and/or unloading of transported sugarcane at designated appropriate locations, following established operational procedures. * Record operation-related activities on the designated form. * Maintain vehicles and attached implements in optimal working condition. * Perform minor repairs on the vehicles and equipment operated. * Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate for the tasks performed. * Report all irregularities occurring during operations, as well as equipment anomalies, to the immediate supervisor. * Maintain and ensure proper functioning of the vehicle and trailer lighting system, and perform cleaning and/or replacement of reflective safety strips. * Ensure workplace organization, cleanliness, safety, vehicle integrity, and environmental protection.
