We are seeking a talent to work as an Occupational Safety Technician I. **Together, shall we transform collaboration into results?** **Responsibilities and Duties** Our Occupational Safety Management department aims to strengthen the safety management model by proactively eliminating, minimizing, and controlling significant risks to employees' physical integrity. To achieve this, we rely on well-defined processes and guiding goals. And you can join us as a Junior Occupational Safety Technician. In this role, you will work at the Equatorial Goiás unit in Firminópolis and will be responsible for managing occupational safety processes in the regional area. Your responsibilities will include: * Conducting safety integration for new employees; * Evaluating safety documentation from service provider companies; * Inspecting work activities and their performers at job sites, identifying hazardous conditions, taking all necessary actions to eliminate risk situations, and training and raising employee awareness about safe work behaviors; * Guiding workers on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protection systems, as well as indicating and inspecting firefighting equipment when required, aiming to reduce risks to worker safety and physical integrity; * Collaborating in projects involving building modifications or new installations to create safer working conditions; * Promoting campaigns, lectures, and other guidance initiatives to disseminate occupational safety and hygiene regulations, as well as to inform and raise awareness among workers about unhealthy, dangerous, or strenuous tasks; * Distributing personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as indicating and inspecting firefighting equipment when required, aiming to reduce risks to worker safety and physical integrity; * Supporting SIPAT by organizing necessary activities and resources; * Investigating workplace accidents and preparing accident reports; * Identifying activity risks and recording them so engineers can recommend mitigation measures. Conduct inspections/monitoring of teams and facilities, auditing/supervising/guiding compliance with technical and legal safety requirements, PPEs, tools, equipment, and environmental safety conditions; * Delivering lectures and monitoring training related to prevention of personal losses (injuries and illnesses), material damage, and environmental harm; * Monitoring the development of accident and occupational health damage prevention programs (PGR, PCMAT, PCA, others), periodically tracking preventive actions/measures, developing emergency response plans, guiding fire brigades, and participating in drills; * Assisting CIPA with its routine obligations and keeping records updated as required by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. **Requirements and Qualifications** Requirements and qualifications: **What we expect from you:** * Technical degree in Occupational Safety; * Valid Class B driver's license; * Experience in the electric sector is desirable; * Technical training in Electrotechnics or Civil Firefighter will be an advantage; * Intermediate/advanced Office Suite skills; * Basic Power BI knowledge will be an advantage; * Commitment to results; * Teamwork; * Customer orientation. **Additional Information** **Why apply:** By joining Grupo Equatorial, you become part of a growing company with a culture that values continuous development, talent diversity, and commitment to the future.
