To check your application status, log in using your candidate credentials on our careers page, as it will reflect any updates.** **Responsibilities/Profile:** * Supervises and coordinates production line activities, prepares schedules, resolves issues, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards. * Fosters an environment that generates ideas and drives continuous improvement. * Prepares and maintains production process reports, tool performance records, issue logs, and inventory data; shares this information with managers and provides suggestions to improve safety, productivity, and quality. * Prepares, maintains, and updates documentation related to operational procedures and safety and quality standards, ensuring all processes and products meet required specifications. * Supervises and directs daily production line worker activities—including task assignment, coordination among different teams, employee safety assurance, and performance monitoring. * Trains new hires, manages shift schedules and workplace conflicts, monitors safety, and fosters internal communication to cultivate a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement. **Skills:** **Leadership Skills:** Demonstrate effective communication and people management skills to lead technical teams. Show knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain constructive relationships with customers, suppliers, peers, and colleagues. Demonstrate strategic vision, adaptability, emotional intelligence, negotiation ability, and execution capability. **Manufacturing Safety:** Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices; ability to identify job-related hazards and perform necessary actions to comply with regulatory safety requirements for workers, the environment, and the workplace. **Planning and Organization:** Understanding of task and resource planning and organization; ability to plan and organize time and resources to complete activities, structuring and maintaining work systematically and highly methodically. **Process Improvement:** Understanding and discernment in evaluating current product and production method quality, with the ability to maintain focus on continuous improvement of processes, products, and services. **Basic Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree completed * English: Intermediate level * Experience leading people, projects, production processes, or support functions * Proficiency with Microsoft O365 suite * Willingness to work rotating shifts (e.g., 203\) * Soft Skills: Strategic vision, interpersonal skills, effective communication, cross-functional collaboration, and Lean knowledge. **Preferred Qualifications for Standout Candidates:** * Postgraduate degree / MBA * English: Pre-advanced or higher level * Knowledge of Lean tools (5S, TPM, OEE, BIQ, Takt Time / Cycle Time, etc.) * Familiarity with assembly, logistics, manufacturing, and quality processes. *Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days per week.* **Interested in this challenge and ready to grow your career at Caterpillar?
