Development and implementation of continuous improvements About the job Our Operations team is seeking a Packaging Operator to work onsite in Poços de Caldas - MG. Primary responsibilities include operating, cleaning, and performing minor repairs (autonomous maintenance) on packaging machines, as well as providing support to all lower-level functions when required—always adhering to Danone’s internal Safety and Quality standards and Brazilian legislation. * Execute Safety systems, including observations in the Sphera system and safety labels; * Comply with Safety Golden Rules; * Ensure the production line remains in basic condition—clean and organized—and comply with HACCP and NEPTUNE requirements to meet product and process specifications; * Guarantee production without non-conformities (Jidoka); * Perform failure analysis; * Execute equipment centerlining in accordance with established DMS (including visual setups, working ranges, and audit frequency); * Conduct filter inspections; NEPTUNE validation; * Food Safety preventive actions (valves, connections, and hoses at the fruit station); * Pest control; adherence to defined loss and system standards (SAP/WEB) at each production stage (drainage, startups, shutdowns, dosing); * Implement improvements to ensure lowest production cost; * Execute procedures for material receipt and changeover; * Ensure execution of cleaning and inspection procedures; * Guarantee machine startup at scheduled time; * Operate the line according to established standards; * Identify (via labels) and resolve deviations that may affect delivery; * Ensure execution of operational OMs; * Attend training related to safety, quality, IWS, and losses; * Generate LPPs and train the team; * Demonstrate Danone behaviors in practice; * Understand significant environmental impacts associated with one’s activities and suggest, where possible, ideas to reduce or eliminate such impacts—aiming to improve performance of the Danone Integrated System (SID)—and report any signs of environmental incidents to relevant Environmental functions; * Apply all IWS tools assigned to the equipment owner: Centerline, defects, CIL, IPS, RCO, OPLs, triggers, EO Book development, etc. About you * Technical or undergraduate degree completed in mechanical, electrical, quality, or related fields (mandatory); * Completed high school education; * Minimum 1 year of experience as a Packaging Operator, Fruit Station Operator, Palletizer Operator, or Level I Preparer; * Preferred knowledge of SERAC; * Preferred knowledge of Excel and Danone digital tools; * Teamwork, agility, and proactivity; * Availability to work rotating shifts (T1 – 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM / T2 – 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM / T3 – 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM); * Availability to work onsite at our EDP factory in Poços de Caldas - MG; * Alignment with Danone’s HOPE values: Humanism, Openness, Proximity, and Enthusiasm.
