Description

Job Summary: A professional responsible for the collection, sorting, handling, and verification of goods, as well as forklift operation and maintenance in a warehouse environment. Key Highlights: 1. Verification and standardization of loads in stock Job Responsibilities: * Collect merchandise data using a Radio Frequency (RF) device prior to movement within the warehouse. * Check forklift functionality by completing the full daily checklist and request maintenance when necessary. * Sort goods according to orders using printed pick lists or data collectors, referencing storage location, SKU (product code), batch number, expiration date, and quantity required in the order or replenishment list, utilizing appropriate equipment. * Support the department manager in other related operational activities. * Perform merchandise verification according to established procedures and work instructions. * Standardize loads (re-palletizing, labeling of packages, applying stretch wrap to pallets). * Conduct inventory counts and move merchandise using a forklift. * Handle various types of received materials by verifying internal documentation and transporting them to designated locations within the warehouse. * Process order completion in internal control systems. * Replenish stock through internal material movement between areas (e.g., macrostock, warehouse, etc.). * Participate in inventory activities, moving merchandise using a forklift. * Check the forklift battery charge level daily and perform water replenishment, recharging, or battery replacement as needed. * Inspect forklift safety and operational components and request maintenance when necessary. * Replace forklift forks when handling loads with non-standard dimensions. * Comply with environmental preservation, occupational health, and safety regulations and procedures. * Maintain and safeguard company-provided equipment and materials used in performing job duties.
