Job Summary:
Work as an R&D Analyst, focusing on technical-operational support for the development of healthy and delicious products, managing processes and interacting with stakeholders.

Promote greater healthfulness to people by working as an R&D Analyst, providing technical-operational support in developing new healthy and delicious products (including registration, creation of technical specifications, raw material approvals, prototype development, monitoring and compilation of technical reports, conducting internal industrial tests and tests at third-party facilities, validation testing, etc.) and managing processes related to these activities.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Develop products according to new product briefings provided by the Marketing team;
* Participate in the approval process for new raw materials and/or line materials (raw materials and packaging), under supervision and in accordance with departmental procedures;
* Execute product and manufacturing process validation and improvement activities through various tests (pilot/industrial scale, transportation, stability, sensory, among others), under supervision and in accordance with departmental procedures;
* Gather data on applicable process parameters to ensure standardization of manufactured products, under the supervision of the immediate supervisor;
* Collect and compile data to create/review technical specifications for raw materials, packaging materials, intermediate products, finished products, and consumables used in the manufacturing process, in compliance with current legislation;
* Create and revise operational process documents and work instructions as required by the department;
* Manage new product projects, interfacing with all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring adherence to schedules; monitoring and coordinating meetings with stakeholders is essential;
* Perform other department-related duties associated with this position.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering or related fields (Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, etc.);
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office;
* Basic English;
* Technical knowledge for evaluating food analyses;
* Technical knowledge for evaluating and preparing technical specifications;
* Monitoring of production processes;
* Data compilation and preparation of technical reports;
* Prior experience in the food industry is required;
* Strong communication and coordination skills;
* Experience and/or training in project management is considered a plus.
