Job Summary: The Logistics Operator is responsible for receiving, picking, checking, and handling goods, as well as managing inventory and assisting with deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction. Ability to learn and respect company procedures. **What We Expect From You:** * Completed high school education. * Experience in receiving, checking, picking, and handling goods. * Experience with the SAP system will be considered an advantage. * Prioritization management skills are desirable. * Capacity for learning, practical application, and consistent adherence to company procedures, standards, and rules. * Availability to work on weekends and holidays. * Customer satisfaction orientation. **A Day in the Life of a Logistics Operator:** * RECEIVING GOODS: + Conducts quantitative and qualitative receipt of both commercial and non-commercial goods (e.g., equipment, office supplies), verifying and identifying general condition, supplier, linear measurement, reference number, color tone, expiration date, etc. + Prepares physical space and necessary equipment for proper receipt, avoiding loss of productivity during inspection. + Records all relevant details about received goods (quantities, apparent condition, expiration dates, etc.) in the inspection report, ensuring quality and preventing losses. + Stores goods at the correct warehouse location by reading the receipt slip to expedite future order assembly for pickup or delivery. + Labels products missing or defective barcodes and applies security labels to theft-sensitive items, ensuring goods delivered to retail are ready for sale. + Sorts goods according to flow typology—store goods versus warehouse goods. + Releases goods for storage in the Store or Warehouse by contacting the Replenishment or Storage team to perform storage (receiving note). + Performs anti-shrinkage actions through rigorous qualitative and quantitative checks on received goods, optimizing vehicle flow in the Goods Receiving yard and ensuring correct use of material handling equipment (pallet jacks, cages, etc). + Maintains organization of equipment, tools, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). + Stacks pallets safely to prevent damage to property and people. + Keeps the receiving area clean and organized to help combat shrinkage and prevent workplace accidents. + Receives validated shrinkage reports from Retail, performs qualitative and quantitative checks, and places shrinkage-marked items in the designated disposal area. + Receives supplier returns validated by Retail, conducts qualitative and quantitative checks, and schedules pickup. + Receives shipments for Technical Support, performs qualitative and quantitative checks, and schedules pickup. * PICKUP AND HOME DELIVERY: + Separates RSS (Reserve Stock), identifies products, and notifies the Commercial Department of the separation. + Assigns physical locations for goods, maintaining rotating inventory based on the RSS product list. + Delivers goods to customers promptly and courteously, loading them into the customer’s vehicle. + Picks and verifies goods, checking all items listed on the issued order, making them available for customer pickup at the Goods Pickup Area or for carrier pickup (home delivery). * REPLENISHMENT: + Restocks products appropriately on the sales floor. * INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: + Stores goods and ensures inventory quality and reliability. + Reviews daily orders generated by the Commercial Department, analyzes data consistency required in each order (addresses, phone numbers, delivery dates, references, availability, etc.), organizes orders chronologically, and releases them for billing. + Provides telephone support to inform customers about delivery timelines. + Reports any issues involving the picking team, operations, or products to the Logistics Supervisor. + Assists the Logistics Supervisor in efficient warehouse slotting (setup, rotating inventories, etc). + Handles canceled RSS orders on a daily basis. + Records shrinkage incidents identified during goods picking. + Maintains good relations and serves as the liaison with third-party carriers. + Collaborates with the Customer Service team to proactively address potential goods-related issues. + Reports goods-related incidents to the Logistics Supervisor and/or Logistics Manager. + Serves as the point of contact for the Goods Pickup Counter. + Is responsible for their work equipment. + Adheres to safety regulations.
