**Join our team!** **CRUSHING OPERATOR I – GASPAR, SC** Responsible for inspecting equipment, operating mineral processing plants for stone ore and comminution equipment (processing materials to break rocks and raw materials into smaller particles and fragments), stone classification equipment, concentration equipment (storage of finished material), and loading of finished products. Work in compliance with technical standards for quality, safety, and environmental protection. **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Operate crushers (primary and secondary), screens, conveyors, feeders, and other process equipment. * Monitor operating parameters (particle size distribution, feed rate, material levels, vibration, noise, pressure, temperature, etc.). * Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify anomalies, wear, and potential failures. * Adjust crusher and screen settings as required by production needs and product specifications. * Control feed flow and ensure continuous plant supply. * Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance (e.g., jaw replacement, liners, screens, belts, etc.). * Record incidents, daily production, stoppages, and interventions in systems or spreadsheets. * Support cleaning, clearing blockages from chutes, belts, and operational areas when necessary. * Immediately report any hazards or unsafe conditions. * Strictly comply with safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations, including proper use of PPE. **Requirements** * Completed elementary or high school education. * Basic knowledge of industrial machinery operation. * Prior experience in crushing, mining, quarrying, or related sectors is a plus. **Technical and Behavioral Competencies** * Attention to and focus on safety. * Proactivity. * Ability to work in a team. * Physical stamina for manual labor and operational environments. **Working Conditions** * On-site work at a crushing plant (outdoor/industrial environment). * Exposure to noise, dust, and vibration, with appropriate protective measures. * Shift work (day/night), according to company schedule. **Benefits:** * Meals provided at the workplace * Basic food basket * Attendance bonus * Medical and dental plans * Uniforms * Medical support – Anjos da Vida * Free parking * Rest area * Group life insurance * Transportation allowance * Meal allowance * Christmas gift Competitive salary commensurate with the position; candidates must reside in the Gaspar or Brusque/SC region.
