The **Clinical Engineering Supervisor** is the technical leader and manager of clinical engineering operations within their unit, ensuring the safe, effective, and economically responsible management of the medical-hospital equipment technology park. They ensure excellence in service execution, compliance with regulations, optimization of resources, and technical team development, serving as a key pillar for customer satisfaction and service quality. * **Operational Management and Compliance:** Ensure the implementation and continuous maintenance of processes defined in the unit's **Health Technology Management Plan (PGTS)**, using designated systems and tools. Guarantee full compliance of operations and documentation with current legislation, technical standards (e.g.: NBR IEC 60601, ISO/IEC 17025 when applicable), and regulations (ANVISA, INMETRO). Review and ensure the organization and control of all process-related documents in the management system (e.g.: DOO), ensuring traceability and easy access. Prepare and organize documentation and processes related to the unit’s **hospital accreditation**, assemble presentations for audits, and lead the process to achieve successful certification. * **Team Leadership and Development:** **Supervise and guide daily activities of clinical engineering technicians**, ensuring quality and efficiency in the execution of maintenance, calibration, and testing services. Monitor individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback and actively participating in employee technical development. Ensure team replication and adherence to trainings provided by the company, as well as promote technical knowledge sharing with the team and the client’s clinical staff. * **Maintenance Management and Technological Park Optimization:** **Ensure resolution of corrective maintenance requests**, supervising diagnosis, parts/accessories quotation, and proposing effective solutions. Supervise and monitor the execution of **planned maintenance (preventive and predictive)** of equipment, ensuring schedule compliance and issuance of reports and certificates. Ensure proper recording and documentation of all activities in the maintenance management system (SGM), from request opening to service evaluation. Prepare **technical assessments** and obsolescence reports for equipment, based on history and regulations, to support the client’s technological park evaluation. * **Vendor and Contract Management:** Supervise third-party services and contract execution within the unit through analysis of external service orders. Evaluate cost-benefit of contracts and ad hoc third-party services, proposing optimizations or alternatives. Manage and control material, accessory, and spare part orders to ensure efficiency and continuity of Medical-Hospital Equipment (MHE) operation, managing inventory in the SGM. * **Data Analysis and Reporting:** Produce detailed **technical reports** for corrective and preventive maintenance, calibrations, and electrical safety tests. Perform critical analyses to present equipment status to the client, suggesting technically and economically viable solutions to optimize technological park management. Keep the immediate coordinator informed about work progress and challenges, seeking solutions and aligning strategies through meetings and daily communication. * **Customer Relationship and Service Expansion:** Act as the primary technical contact with the client hospital’s team and management on matters related to clinical engineering. Perform equipment quotations and coordinate demonstrations as needed, aiming to expand the scope of services and solutions offered. * **Asset and Resource Management:** Ensure the preservation and organization of all equipment and tools provided for their role, requesting replacements when necessary. Perform other job-related tasks assigned by the clinical engineering coordinator or immediate supervisor.
