**Job Description**
As Housekeeping Assistant at Tivoli Maiorana Belém, you will be responsible for managing all aspects and functions of the Housekeeping department, in accordance with company, brand, and certifier standards. You will lead, implement, and maintain a service and management philosophy to guide department colleagues and assist, when necessary, to ensure optimal service for hotel guests and customers.
**Brief overview of responsibilities:**
* Maintain comprehensive knowledge of and comply fully with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards;
* Ensure brand and certifier standards are consistently upheld at the highest level in daily activities;
* Attend daily briefings punctually at the time scheduled by the housekeeping supervisor to review routines and upcoming events;
* Be accountable for all equipment and accessories required to perform the role;
* Carry out cleaning of guest public areas and common areas, according to established procedures;
* Maintain organization and focus on daily cleaning procedures (floor, carpet, and communal area cleaning) throughout the hotel;
* Clean glass doors and windows;
* Clean corridor walls and moldings, as well as public area walls;
* Clean both interior and exterior of waste bins in public areas;
* Maintain routine office cleaning;
* Remove trash from corridors and common areas, segregating waste and implementing selective collection practices;
* Clean stairs, elevators, doors, walls, and ceilings;
* Clean fire extinguishers, light fixtures, walls, and floors;
* Maintain general cleanliness of all designated hotel areas as assigned by your immediate supervisor: restaurants, lobby bar, front desk, restrooms, administrative areas, spa, fitness center, pool area, and event spaces;
* Perform duties with attention and discipline, adhering to hygiene and occupational safety regulations;
* Perform other duties as required by the department.
**Qualifications** **General Skills:**
* Passion for service;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills with individuals and groups;
* Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in task execution;

**Education:**
* Completed high school education.
**Languages:**

**Technical Qualifications:**

* Technical training and knowledge of hotel housekeeping departments will be considered an advantage.

* Working hours: Rotating shift (07:00\-15:20; 15:00\-23:20);
* Work rotation: 6 days on / 1 day off (weekly day off scheduled in rotation);
