Job Summary: Plan, control, and optimize the use of both owned and third-party fleets, ensuring efficient routing, cost reduction, and on-time delivery, thereby guaranteeing strategic and organized vehicle utilization. Internal department coordination and continuous improvement Plan, control, and optimize the use of the Moinho Sertão Forte’s owned and third-party fleets, ensuring efficient routing, reduction of logistics costs, on-time delivery, and compliance with internal procedures and applicable legislation. Ensure vehicles are used in a **strategic, economical, and organized** manner, with well-defined routes, properly scheduled loads, and reliable information to support operations, production, and billing. Fleet Management * Monitor availability of owned fleet and third-party vehicles. * Track vehicle documentation (registration, insurance, inspections). * Manage preventive and corrective maintenance jointly with suppliers. * Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and appropriate vehicle usage. Routing and Delivery Scheduling * Design and optimize delivery routes considering distance, cost, deadlines, and cargo type. * Schedule trips according to orders, available production, and vehicle capacity. * Consolidate loads whenever possible to reduce logistics costs. * Adjust routes in real time in response to operational disruptions. Operational and Documentation Control * Verify loading orders, freight manifests, and delivery schedules. * Ensure alignment among route, cargo, driver, and documentation. * Record route incidents, delays, deviations, or damages. Internal Department Coordination * Coordinate daily with Production, Warehouse, and Sales departments regarding delivery scheduling. * Support the Billing Department with necessary logistics information for invoicing. * Communicate routes, schedules, and procedures to drivers and carriers. KPIs and Continuous Improvement * Monitor KPIs such as: Cost per kilometer driven Fleet utilization rate On-time deliveries Incidents per route * Propose improvements in routing, fleet utilization, and logistics processes.
